Building Blocks Mentoring Program is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that supports its youth with mentoring to empower social development, education, and self-awareness. BBMP will enable at-risk youth to improve their lives by building relationships with caring and willing adults from their community and other surrounding areas. The youth taking advantage of this innovative program will be able to utilize resources and career building opportunities for a better future that will empower them to achieve academic growth and self-development.

Building Blocks Mentoring Program Annual Back to School Charity Weekend is a celebration of rich history and the community, This weekend has served as the catalyst for BBMP's achievement and growth. As we enter a new era, Building Blocks Mentoring Program remains a stakeholder of Memphis & Shelby County communities. BUILDINGLIVES is what we, as a program, with the administration, mentors, teachers and students combined, have built! BUILDINGLIVES will rest in the hearts and minds of students and parents, as an eden, a noble celebration of the great excellence. With a legacy of fellowship, stewardship and pride, Building Blocks Mentoring Program back to School Charity Weekend celebration embarks on its 7th year of existence. It is undoubtedly one of the largest and most lucrative events in the City of Memphis.. The success of this annual event, year after year, is the emanation of the collective efforts of students, alumni, faculty, and members of the community. This year’s activities will be held from August 22nd-24th, 2015 and the foundations of a series of spectacular events are being established now.
